Our trip to the Everglades

Last year while vacationing in Florida we went for an air boat ride through

the Everglades.

This guy got a little too close for comfort!

Especially for my Mother and three year old! Not cool.

Calm before the Storm

I always think of the month of April as the calm before the storm.

THE only time my family gets to sit outside in silence and enjoy the nice weather.

I shot this photo while vacationing in Florida and ever time I look at it I think it looks like someone Photoshoped it. BUT I know that I did in fact take the picture so it is 100% real!

Back on the Farm

Well I didn't actually grow up on a farm, but it was close enough.

Okay, it doesn't look like much but to me this is home.

This is where I grew up. Where my father grew up.

I know my brothers will get a soft spot in their hearts from this vieux.

A few years back my Dad added this windmill to our land.

It was a great addition.
