#9 Front Door.

This is my new front door.  The house has been in the makings for about a year and a half.  So far no one has walked through it (excluding they guys who installed it) and no one will until we move in!

Day #8 Sun

What can I say.... I am a sunset photographer.  I live on a lake that offers me the most beautiful view.  I couldn't decide which one to use so here are my favorites.

Day #6 Dinner

Did you know that when you are on vacation and you catch a nice fish.....

They cook it up for you in the Hotel that you stay at.  Who knew!

mmmm It was so good.

Day #5 10am

Its a Beautiful Day in the Northwoods.
It is expected to reach 40 degrees this fine day.  Maybe some ice fishing is in order.

Day #4 Stranger.

This was a hard one for me.....

But it doesn't get any stranger then this.  This guy was my waiter while I was vacationing in Mexico on the Day of the Dead.  AKA Halloween.

Day #3 Hands

My Fathers Hands

My fathers hands are rough and well used.  He has worked his whole life to make his hands look like this.  Built houses, dug ditches, fed animals, plowed fields.  I look at this picture and I love my fathers hands.  When I was young I would pick all the slivers out of his fingers at the end of the day.  To me these hands are beautiful.

When I look at my hands and my dads hands, they are the exact same.  Only mine are a little more feminine!  Especially on this day when you see my hands at their very best.  Maybe one day I can look back at my hands and see the many stories that they tell... just like my dads.

Day #2 Words

Living Life

Life is not a race - but indeed a journey.  Be honest.  Work hard. Be choosy.  Say "thank you," "I love you". and "great job" to someone each day.  Go to church, take time for prayer. The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh.  Let your handshake mean more than a pen and paper.  Love your life and what you've been given, it is not accidental - search for your purpose and do it as best as you can.  Dreaming does not matter.  It allows you to become that which you aspire to be.  Laugh often. Appreciate the little things in life and enjoy them.  Some of the best things really are free.  Do not worry, less wrinkles are more becoming.  Forgive, it frees the soul.  Take time for yourself - plan for longevity. Recognize the special people you've been blessed to know.  Live for today, enjoy the moment.
