Butterfly

We woke the other morning to find this......

We waited and waited to see what would happen but had to get groceries first. When we came back home the butterfly was there.

The makings of a Butterfly!

The kids found this baby Monarch caterpillar while hanging out

with PaPa this last week. The fed it milkweed everyday.

Soon the Caterpillar got pretty big and starting crawling around the top

of the ice cream bucket that they had him in.

Papa put him into the spider plant *yes a houseplant* and the next morning

there was this hanging there! Beautiful...

We now have three cocoons and two more caterpillars that will soon be changing.

I am hoping to capture the progress of this. Brooke informed me that the butterfly book said we have to wait 10 days. It is marked on the calendar!
